Alice Young is an avid painter in watercolour and acrylic, who lives in Australia. She has been on several painting tours to Europe, Middle East and North Africa. When she was in Nepal recently, Ram Sapkota was her tour guide introduced by their mutual Buddhist Master. Alice found the Nepalese to be intensely welcoming and religious, therefore bringing painting and Buddhist tours to the country would be a way to share the Nepalese culture, their kindness and deep sense of Buddhist philosophy. At the same time such tours would help contribute to the country’s economic development and growth.
